01EDS Wenzel fleet
Oil-sealed drilling motors
Wenzel motors.
Abaco power sections.
Our Wenzel rental fleet includes M5, M6 and model 10A motors. Every Wenzel motor in the fleet is oil-sealed and powered by an Abaco power section. The sealed, oil-lubricated bearing assembly keeps drilling fluid and debris away from its internal moving parts.

Gyro orientation supports two critical stages of a cased-hole sidetrack: setting the whipstock direction and orienting the drilling motor for the exit through the milled window.

Whipstock & motor orientation
From the casing window to the planned kick-off.
EDS provides gyro orientation alongside specialist partners who supply the whipstocks.

Orient the whipstock
We use the gyro system to orient the whipstock in the planned direction, working with the specialist whipstock supplier.

Mill the casing window
The window is milled through the casing before the drilling motor is oriented for the sidetrack.

Orient the motor for the exit
We use the gyro system to orient the drilling motor to slide through the window and kick off in the planned direction.
